Global Community Gold Value Chain™

Global Community Gold Value Chain™

Our mission is to create and maintain, in concert with mission-aligned social enterprises and organizations, a gold value chain that generates positive social impact and creates a “win-win” for all stakeholders in the chain.

The demand for gold has risen over the past decade.  Market analysis and studies have concluded that billions of dollars of gold is being smuggled out of Africa every year. While the black-market trade in gold continues to grow with much of it not recorded or reported in the export reports of African states, gold is leaving Africa with no taxes being paid to the African states where the gold originates resulting in a high human and environmental cost to those countries. A significant amount of this illicit gold passes through the United Arab Emirates as a gateway to markets in Europe, Asia, and the United States.

Our mission is to create and maintain a gold value chain that creates a “win-win” for all stakeholders in the chain. One of the initial objectives of our mission is to reduce the number of stakeholders in the gold value chain thereby establishing a traceable, reasonably-risk-free, and ethical value chain connecting a mining community directly with the refinery, depository, manufacturer, administrative support, distribution network, marketing channels, and then the ultimate acquirers of the gold. Our initiative has numerous components spanning the range from housing, banking, medical services and related insurance, to regulatory and government compliance and policy making. The true long-term economic value of our Global Community Gold Value Chain Initiative is our system-based intellectual property and unique approach and business model.
